False Flag is a curatorial project in progress, to be exhibited at Franklin Street Works in Stamford, CT in 2018.
The exhibition will explore paranoia and politics in art. In particular I am interested in a kind of empathetic, considered analysis of paranoia as a subject and source of knowledge in artistic production and culture today. As a philosophy/condition, paranoia is remarkable in the way in which it can be "right" or "wrong", and of the powerful, sometimes violent, implications of either. As part of this, the term "False Flag" with all of its current political implications will be dismantled and explored as a structure. More information will be posted as the exhibition approaches.
